Dear Lord, Send Me! – Book Review

You Were Born For This

By: Bruce Wilkinson

“Dear Lord, Send Me!” How many times have we all cried out like Isaiah? Or thought of of crying out but in the back of your mind you are also praying, please don’t! We all are witnesses to miracles day in and day out, whether we realize it or not, and many times we ask why haven’t we been asked to be part of a miracle in someones life?

In You Were Born for This, Bruce Wilkinson tells us why we may not be part of a miracle and how we can change that to become more miracle-minded when asking for and answering God’s call. It is not that God does not want us to help perform miracles, because He does, but many of us ignore His voice when He calls. Wilkinson goes through the steps to begin listening for and seeking the moments where God has asked us to start off. The first step of which is simple and complex all rolled into one. The first step is to ask God to send us. And when we ask to be sent, God will surely send and we will be amazed at the miracle encounters we come across daily.

You Were Born for This is a great book to help reformulate what you believe when it comes to miracles, this book will help you to realize that God wants each of us to be a way for Him to show His glory, it is time for us to step up and do what we were born to do. Answer God’s Call of “Who shall I send?” Send me.
